Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Simgen collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers everyone who interacts with Simgen: business customers using the dashboard, and the visitors who try the embeddable widget on a customer's website.

Who we are

Simgen (Nevin Solutions) provides software that generates a photorealistic preview of a product or service applied to a customer's own photo. This policy applies to simgen.app and any workspace or widget hosted on it.

What we collect

Account holders (businesses using Simgen):

• Name and email address, used to create and secure your account
• Workspace details: business name, branding, and the products or services in your catalogue
• Photos you or your customers upload, and the previews generated from them
• Billing details, handled entirely by our payment processor — we do not store card numbers

Website visitors (people using the embedded widget on a customer's site):

• A photo they choose to upload, to generate their own preview
• Name and email address, only if they choose to keep their result — this becomes a lead for the business running the widget

How we use it

To generate previews, run your account and workspace, process payments, respond to support requests, and keep the service secure and working as intended. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.

How long we keep it

If a website visitor generates a preview but never leaves an email to keep it, that photo is deleted automatically after 24 hours. Account data, catalogue items and claimed previews are kept for as long as your account is active, or as needed to meet legal obligations after it's closed.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Simgen: Clerk for authentication, Convex for hosting and data storage, Google for the underlying image generation model, and a payment processor for billing. Each only receives what it needs to do its job, under its own data protection terms.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. For account holders, most of this is available directly in your workspace settings. For anything else, or if you're a website visitor who used a widget, email hello@simgen.app and we'll handle it.

Children

Simgen is a business tool and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
